School supplies for needy students in Seram island in Maluku, Indonesia

Another CSR initiative to support education at Waralohi Elementary school.

Omexom Grid Indonesia is currently building a 150kV substation on Seram island. The construction of a high voltage grid in this remote part of Indonesia aims to enhance the reliability of the electricity supply, supporting the island’s economic development. Recently, the Omexom Business Unit launched a CSR initiative to support education by donating essential school supplies to needy students. This initiative illustrates the Omexom team’s commitment to improving educational opportunities and the learning environment for local students. The donation, which included books, stationery, backpacks, shoes, belts and other supplies, was delivered to Waralohi Elementary school on Seram Island, located near the Omexom site. The supplies will benefit approximately 50 students.
