Omexom are one of the contractors qualified by PLN for the construction of high voltage substations. During the year PLN have entrusted Omexom Grid Indonesia with several contracts to build new substations as well as to extend existing substations on more than 50 sites located throughout Indonesia.

The combined value of these contracts amounts to some 64 MUSD. Omexom’s scope of services includes design works, procurement and delivery of electrical and mechanical equipment, civil works, and installation, testing and commissioning works for air insulated and gas insulated substations rated at 70kV, 150kV and up to 500kV.
