Completion of a biogas-to-energy project providing green energy in Sumatra
Omexom Indonesia has successfully delivered the plant automation system, electrical system and grid connection works for the Hamparan biogas project located in Lampung, Sumatra.
This biogas-to-energy plant, which has now reached commercial operation stage, treats the waste from a tapioca starch manufacture to produce biogas which is then valorized as electricity. The Hamparan plant will inject 18GWh per year of green electricity to the Grid.
